Sweepstakes Official Rules
Terms & Conditions:
HOW TO PLAY: Beginning January 15, 2008 through June 1, 2008, log onto HYPERLINK "http://www.yeshivaraffle.org" www.yeshivaraffle.org and follow the on-screen instructions to enter the sweepstakes for a chance to win a 2008 Toyota (Camry, Sienna, or RAV 4), a 10 day trip to Israel for 7 (including airfare, hotel accommodations, $1,000 spending cash, and a 7-megapixel digital camera), or $20,000 cash.
PRIZE CLAIMS: The winner of the sweepstakes drawing will be notified by Talmudical Academy via phone and/or email. All prizes must be claimed within 90 days of notification.
PRIZES AND ODDS OF WINNING: One (1) GRAND PRIZE: a 2008 Toyota (Camry, Sienna, or RAV 4), a 10 day trip to Israel for 7 (including airfare, hotel accommodations, $1,000 spending cash, and a 7-megapixel digital camera), or $20,000 cash. Odds of winning are determined by number of tickets sold and distributed. The prizes are only as detailed above. Winners are solely responsible for paying all applicable federal, state, local taxes, and all other expenses associated with the acceptance and/or use of prize, including, but not limited to, title, license, registration fees and delivery charges of vehicle and any additional options above dealer’s model being offered by Talmudical Academy. Airfare ticket value for Trip to Israel shall not exceed $1,400 per ticket. Seasonal restrictions and blackout dates may apply to hotel accommodations. Unclaimed prize will not be awarded.
GENERAL RULES: Sweepstakes open to individuals who are 18 years of age and older as of January 15, 2008. Only one (1) individual may be identified as the purchaser (or buyer) of the sweepstakes entry. This game is void where prohibited or restricted by applicable federal, state, or local laws or regulations. Sponsor and its agencies are not responsible for typographical, technical, hardware, software, or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled, or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this game or by any human, or other error, which may occur in the distribution of prize in this game. If, in the judge’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of the promotion (including use of robotic devices, software programming, or any means of entry other than individual keystrokes by the entrant), or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the game, the judge reserves the right to void suspect entries and/or terminate or suspend the promotion and conduct a random drawing to award the prize using all known eligible non-suspect entries received as of the date of termination. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use winner’s name, location (city and state) and likenesses for purposes of advertising, promotion, and publicity without additional compensation. Entrants (and their parents/legal guardians) agree to abide by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Talmudical Academy, whose decisions are final in all matters relating to this promotion. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from this promotion. Sponsor reserves the right to permanently disqualify from any promotion it sponsors any person it believes has intentionally violated these rules. Winner’s name and location by city or town, and state, may be mailed/e-mailed to all entrants and may also be posted at HYPERLINK "http://www.yeshivaraffle.org" www.yeshivaraffle.org and/or HYPERLINK "http://www.talmudicalacademy.org" www.talmudicalacademy.org. All contact attempts shall be made to the email and/or phone number provided by the raffle entry purchaser.
TAXES AND IRS RULES: The winner shall be responsible for any and all federal, state and local income or excise taxes, fees, assessments and like charges associated with the prize. The IRS requires that income tax withholding on prize values of $5,100 or greater must be paid upon award and distribution. Government rules governing withholding can change without notice. Check with your qualified financial advisor for additional information.
WAIVER: By entering this promotion, participant (and participant’s parent/legal guardian) waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages, attorneys’ fees or any damages other than actual out-of pocket costs incurred to enter. By entering the Sweepstakes, the entry purchaser acknowledges that he or she is aware of and agrees with the official rules.
